Dr. Tiejun Tang has 36 year's clinical experience. He has studied and worked at 5 different famous medical universities in China. He has practised at 3 top university hospitals and has taught Chinese medicine at 2 universities. He was appointed as a vice professor at Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in 1999 when he worked as a post-doctoral researcher. 



​Since he came to the UK in 2005, Dr. Tang has worked at the teaching clinic of Middlesex University as a clinical tutor and senior lecturer of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. He used worked part-time for 8 years at the NHS pain clinic in Whittington Hospital.



Dr. Tang was elected as the executive council member of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Society (WFCMS) and vice Chairman of the Special Committee of Clinical Cases Study of WFCMS.

Dr Tang was selected as a consulting expert of Benchmark for Practice in Acupuncture of the World Health Organization (WHO).
