He graduated from Xiangya Medical University, Hunan, China in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in medicine. After graduation, he worked at the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and under the tutelage of Professor Shang Tianyu, a well-known expert in orthopaedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine, he received a doctorate in medicine from the China Academy of Chinese Medicine in 1992. In 1993, he won the second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of China Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine for "Research on Compressive Stress and Fracture Healing Adaptability at the Level of Cultured Bone Tissue and Osteoblasts in Vitro". Other awards include the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Health Science and Technology Progress Award and was awarded the title of China's "Young and Middle-aged Medical Science and Technology Star" in 1996. In 1997, as an expert of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, he was sent to Switzerland to give lectures and work. Since 1999, he has been engaged in Chinese medicine work in the UK. Proficient in traditional Chinese and Western medicine theories and methods of diagnosis and treatment, good at acupuncture and massage, including Flat head needles, subcutaneous needles, Fu’s needles etc. to treat various pain, internal medicine, orthopaedics and other diseases. He has been practising medicine in Europe and Chinatown in the UK for more than 20 years, and his reputation is excellent. Now he is working in Everwell Chinese Medical Centre UK.
